MIND F*CKERY

This was a light-hearted and fun interview I did on the Australian podcast 'The You Project.'

LBC INTERVIEW WITH TOM SWARBRICK

This was a recent interview in the last hour of Tom Swarbrick's show. I think this is probably the most accessible presentation I've given of my work.

BBC TODAY PROGRAMME

Philip Pullman and I were interviewed on the consciousness, panpsychism and the philosophy of His Dark Materials on the BBC's flagship radio news show (around 1 hour, 22 secs in).

NEWSTALK ON IRISH NATIONAL RADIO

This was a fun, light-hearted chat with Sean Moncrieff.

CBC (Canadian National Broadcaster)

Episode of the CBC show 'Ideas' on my work on consciousness and panpsychism.

PHILOSOPHY BITES

This is good, short introduction to my 'big picture', on the excellent Philosophy Bites podcast.

BBC RADIO 3 'FREE THINKING'

This was a really great discussion/debate with myself, my comrade-in-arms Hedda Hassel Morch, skeptical neuroscientist Daniel Glaser, and deep ecologist Eccy de Jonge.

BBC RADIO 4 'THE MORAL MAZE'

On this episode of 'The Moral Maze', I argued that taxation is not theft.

MINDSCAPE PODCAST

This is me debating panpsychism with the physicist Sean Carroll.

CAN YOU BE A BELIEVER THAT DOESN'T BELIEVE?

Here is my debate on whether religion makes sense without literal belief, with conservative Christian Kristi Mair, for the Unbelievable podcast.

DIGGING DEEPER ON RELIGION WITHOUT BELIEF

Here's a more in depth discussion on the 'religion without belief' topic, with one of my favourite podcast host's Emerson Green on his Counterapologetics podcast.

CAN SCIENCE EXPLAIN CONSCIOUSNESS?

This one is a more in depth exploration of the cutting edge of the consciousness debate in academic philosophy. I am in discussion with David Papineau (Professor of Philosophy at KCL) on the 'Panpsycast' podcast (which is actually not a podcast about panpsychism). David and I have polar opposite views - I am a panpsychist and he is a physicalist - but we have developed our views in discussion with each other. It ended up being a three-parter, which you can access here, here, and here.

PRIVATE LANGUAGE ARGUMENT DEBATE

Wittgenstein's 'private language argument' is intended to show that private mental concepts are incoherent, in which case my entire approach to consciousness is confused. I debate the private language argument with Hanoch Ben-Yami and listen to it here.
